House music is one of the most popular forms of music and is now being played in many different clubs across the world. The music can be described as having a regular 4 x 4 drum beat that often combines electronic sounds from drum machines and synthesizers with soulful samples. It is one of the most popular forms of electronic music and is often played in the club, thanks to the fact that it can be mixed easily. But how did House music originate?
The original forms of House music were played in warehouse clubs in the south side of Chicago. These clubs played this music by mixing various disco records that were popular at the time with a selection of other forms of music that were similar in tempo. Djs realised that they could blend these records together by using turntables and this would lead to a continous mix of music that could be enjoyed and danced to through out the night. This style of music was developed and often played by Djs such as Frankie knuckles, who managed to make the music popular across clubs and radio stations in the area.
The style of House music began to spread through out the 80s in the United States and would often be played in many different clubs and warehouses where it was enjoyed by partygoers. During the mid to late eighties a style of House music began to develop that used the electronic music devices that were being made at the time. This included popular drum machines and synthesizers. The music began to gain worldwide recognition and developed into many other styles that were similar, including Acid house and Techno. House music is now being enjoyed by many people around the world and is played in many different clubs and at parties and wedding events. There are also many different styles of house music to listen to and this includes uplifting chill out house, as well soulful house and acid house.
